Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Mended Plumbing & Heating is Gas Safe registered under number 970210. Every gas job we carry out is completed by a Gas Safe certified engineer, and we're fully insured.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Colchester and cover homes across Essex and Suffolk — from Wivenhoe to Sudbury and the towns and villages in between. Not sure if we reach your postcode? Just ask on WhatsApp and we'll tell you straight.
How do you handle quotes — do I get a fixed price?
For installations and larger jobs we visit, measure up and send a detailed quote in writing. No verbal estimates and no surprises on the invoice. Tidy work and fair, transparent pricing is the Mended promise.
Can you issue landlord gas safety certificates?
Yes. We issue CP12 landlord gas safety certificates, usually same-day. Multi-property discounts are available and we keep your renewal dates on file so your certificates never lapse.
How quickly can you respond?
